- First listen to the song not only once many times. This will give you ideas about how you may want the music video to be. Note down the songs tones, theme, images, colour etc...
- Find out what music video's inspire the artist or the band of the song.
- Put the audience in the performers or the artists shoe's
Types of music video's
- You can have a performance, special effects, telling a story etc...
- For example a rock band will most probably have a performance for the music video
- You can take the audience in a journey
- You need to think about how many characters there will be in the music video
- Not too many characters
- Make sure you choose actors and dancers that can act believably
- Make sure you have the right equipment
