4.1 - Primary Research - Photography

Primary research

- Photographer - Yoshito Darmon

- Aesthetic - Quality of the image

The three main aesthetic rules are:

The rule of thirds

- The image is divided into nine equal part by horizontal lines and vertical lines.

The lead room

- Lead room is the space in front, the direction where the person is facing and looking towards.

The headroom

- The headroom is a close up shot of a persons face to show there feelings and emotions.

The white balance

- White balance is a type of camera settings that puts the lighting together. It makes the image lighting more suitable for the place it has been taken.

The complimentary colours are to do with the white balance because if the image is blue then you will need to add some yellow. We know this because of the primary colours.
